  6. The  Galemandsgilde  (Mad Man's  Party)
  7. '92  saw  the  light  of day  from July
  8. 24th to 26th in  Horsens, Denmark.  The
  9. people   behind  the   mini-party  were
  10. Slammer  of  Anarchy  and   Just of W?P
  11. (Warpigs).
  12. ¹
  13. I  arrived around 10 pm the  first day.
  14. Right    after   entering   the  place,
  15. someone asked  me 'Are you Estrup?'.  I
  16. couldn't see  anyone, but with the help
  17. of   a  2000-times-zoom-microscope,   I
  18. discovered  Seen/Melon Design,  holding
  19. a  giant  baseball bat  (giant = bigger
  20. than Seen!).  I couldn't  deny it, so I
  21. said  yes, and so he asked  me 'Why did
  22. you   change   the    design   in   the
  23. Eurochart?'.  Right  before saying 'but
  24. we  didn't', I thought 'this  is Seen',
  25. and thus, I 'understood'!
  26.  
  27. Now  it  was  time  to   check  out the
  28. place.   It  was  a   kindergarten, and
  29. it's   main    feature   was   a  great
  30. 'kuglepol',  a  kind   of  'ball pool',
  31. with  hundreds  of   coloured  plastic-
  32. balls   in  it.   Later  on,   throwing
  33. around  these  balls  proved to  be the
  34. main activity here.

  36. Well,  perhaps  it's  time to  list the
  37. people present at this party, that  is,
  38. the ones I remember:

  44. ICronite, Slammer, Trix, Xience.

  46. Bacteria:
  47. Toastmaster.
  48.  
  49. Funky Buddhas:
  50. Hithansen.

  52. Kefrens:
  53. Airwalk, Hawkeye.
  54.  
  55. Melon Design:
  56. Seen.
  57.  
  58. Parasite:
  59. Easley,   Gargoyle,   Liquid,   Mount,
  60. Slide.

  62. Static Bytes:
  63. Cutcreator,   Estrup,  Jones,  Marvel,
  64. Playboy, Quackbuster.
  65.  
  66. Warpigs:
  67. Just.

  69. - I BET I forgot someone...

  71. So  what  were we supposed to be  doing
  72. there  for  a   whole  weekend?   Well,
  73. there  was  NO  demo-competition, shame
  74. on the arrangers :-) BUT, there  was of
  75. course  an  outdoor  football  competi-
  76. tion.   As this report is  written some
  77. months  after  the   meeting,  I  don't
  78. remember  all  the  teams  and results,
  79. BUT  of  course  I  remember  the final
  80. result:  STATIC BYTES beat  Parasite, I
  81. think  it  was  1-0, or  perhaps 7-0...
  82. At least WE won.  Again...

  84. Also  a Pinball Dreams  competition was
  85. held, and the winner  was Trix/Anarchy.
  86. Good for him!

  88. What   about    releases???    Well,  a
  89. musicdisk   from  Parasite was released
  90. about  twice,  but  was  withdrawn both
  91. times,  as it contained  some bugs.  As
  92. far as I know, it hasn't been  released
  93. yet!
  94. Of  course,   Jones/Static  Bytes  also
  95. showed his usual  bunch of more or less
  96. finished  routines.   You  can   try to
  97. guess,  whether  or  not  he   released
  98. any...
  99. The best looking production  showed was
  100. definitely the megademo  from Toastmas-
  101. ter/Bacteria.   I  don't  remember it's
  102. name, but a nice one  could be "Impres-
  103. sions   from   the   Hurricane  Party"!
  104. Nothing else revealed.

  106. All  in all, the Galemandsgilde '92 was
  107. quite  nice.   Very  well arranged, and
  108. with  the perfect number  of people for
  109. such  a  meeting,  at   least  I  don't
  110. regret attending.
